Most of the dated e-learning training content was developed using the standards like SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) or AICC (Aviation Industry Computer-Based Training Committee). SCORM is a set of technical rules established by a standards body like ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative) and is supported by most e-learning software products. It was a de facto industry standard for e-learning interoperability.
In a series of blogs on the topic of “Learning Analytics”, I am trying to share my understanding of the subject and what is really means for stakeholders in any organization. For me the following is the most apt definition of the “learning analytics”
Learning Analytics is the science and art of gathering, processing, interpreting and reporting data related to the efficiency, effectiveness and business impact of development programs designed to improve individual and organizational performance and inform stakeholders. By- John R Mattox, II
Organizations need to have an effective platform and strategy to enable distributed learning. It helps to provide an environment that fosters knowledge sharing and growth of their human capital, It's an investment which will help grow your topline and make your employees more productive.
Long long ago (far away from the galaxy) we all used to have static pages on the web. Static HTML pages were prevalent. Then the era of web applications took over. Subsequently it paved the way for interactive and dynamic web application that generate dynamic HTML.
Topics: Cloud migration
We were witness to a change in mindset during the last decade, a shift from 'something cool to have' to 'essential for business survival'? The wide-and-deep proliferation of smartphones in the society has outpaced previous technology transition and adoption, e.g. migration to the web application from the client-server or desktop apps.
My prospective customers frequently ask me the above question. In addition they want to know whether agile and scrum are same.
I list the following example to them. Suppose you want to buy a car. Then based on your needs you either go for SUV or Sedan or Convertible or Coupe or Mini Van or Van or Hatchback or Sports Car. Once you decide the type of car, then you select car’s make, i.e., whether to buy a car from Mercedes or BMW or General Motor or Ford or Toyota or Nissan or Jeep or Suzuki or Hyundai, etc.
In similar fashion based on your project’s need, you decide whether to follow Agile methodology or Iterative methodology. Once you decide that you want to go for Agile methodology then you decide which process from the Agile methodology you want to follow, Scrum or Extreme Programming, Adaptive System Development, DSDM (Dynamic System Development Method), Feature Driven Development, Kanban, Crystal, etc.
Transition from DHTML+CSS+JQuery to React, Angular or Vue
We have to accept the fact that to web application evolve fast. Web development is challenging, and the way we do web development has changed. The user experience and capabilities of your legacy apps can be enhanced by leveraging modern UI frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.
Most of my prospective customers ask me questions related to IWORKTECH’s delivery capabilities. It is consequential, because the primary reason why my prospects want to outsource their software development work to us it that, they are would like to delegate part of their work to an extended and trusted team that can deliver, and the one they could not develop in-house with the time and resources they have allocated to to them.
Hence, it is vital to ensure that IWORKTECH’s core competency lies in software development. It is essential for my customer to select us because we have specialized core skills that are needed for the executing project.
